He spent his entire life in the community he loved.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Sue Williams Kelley; his son, Glenn Kelley; and his sister, Patsy Baker.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Virgil is survived by his daughter, April Kelley; his sister, Carolyn Tanner Kern; his nieces, Linda, Lisa, Nancy, Ester, Debbie, Shana, Lana, Dianna, and Shirley; and his nephew, Keith. He also leaves behind a host of great-nieces and great-nephews who will cherish his memory.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Virgil was a hardworking and dedicated man. He was employed for many years at Tencon in Centerville, Tennessee. In later years, he continued serving his community by driving a bus for the Senior Citizen Center in Centerville and later for the Hickman County School System.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">He was a faithful member of Upper Sinking Church of Christ and proudly served his country as a member of the Tennessee National Guard.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Visitation with the family will be 12 April 2026 from 5:00 &#8211; 8:00 PM at McDonald Funeral Home &#8211; Hickman County.\u00a0 Funeral Services will be held 13 April 2026 at 2:00 PM at McDonald Funeral Home, Inc. &#8211; Hickman County with burial fo follow at Qualls Family Cemetery, Pleasantville, TN.<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Virgil will be remembered for his steady presence, his dedication to his work and community, and the love he had for his family.
