She was born on May 23, 1936, in Linden to the late Ollie and Tilda Heath.<\/p>\n<p>Gladys was a devoted member of Sanctuary First UPC, where her faith was a guiding light throughout her life. Gladys was known for her loving and kind spirit. She cherished her friends and neighbors deeply and found great joy in the relationships she built over the years. Her gentle nature and warm heart left a lasting impression on all who knew her.<\/p>\n<p>She is survived by her son, Leslie Heath, and her dear friend and caregiver, Scherry Talley, who provided her with loving care and companionship for over 35 years.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by several siblings.<\/p>\n<p>Though she will be greatly missed, we find comfort in knowing that she is healed and made whole in the presence of Jesus.<\/p>\n<p>A graveside service will be held at Downey Cemetery, Hohenwald, TN, at a later date.<\/p>\n<p>McDonald Funeral Home is honored to be serving the Heath family.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Gladys Clotin Heath, age 89, passed peacefully on to her heavenly home on April 12, 2026.
