In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Claude W. Teet; brother, G.W. Field; and grandson, Jerry Wayne Teet.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Glenda is survived by her loving children, Chris (Jenny) Teet, Tina Teet, and Richie (Laura) Teet; brother Mike (Peggy) Field; sister-in-law Judy Field; along with 6 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren who brought her immense joy and pride.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Glenda was a hardworking and caring woman who dedicated much of her life to serving others. She taught cosmetology for many years, sharing both her talent and encouragement with her students. After retiring from teaching, she worked alongside her mother at the family beauty shop before opening her own shop, Just For You, in 1987. Throughout the years, she also worked as a real estate agent and substitute teacher, always staying active and involved in her community.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">She will be remembered for her strong work ethic, kind heart, and the love she had for her family and friends. Glenda\u2019s presence touched many lives, and she leaves behind cherished memories that will be treasured for years to come.<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Visitation with the family will be 29 May 2026 from 10:00 AM &#8211; 12:00 PM at McDonald Funeral Home, Inc. &#8211; Hickman County.\u00a0 A Memorial Service will follow at 12:00 PM with internment in Memory Gardens Cemetery, Centerville, TN.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Glenda Fay Teet was born on November 5, 1945, and passed away peacefully on May 9, 2026, at the age of 80.
