He found great fulfillment in the outdoors and took pride in the honest, hardworking life he built through his years of dedication.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">He is survived by his beloved wife, Martha Sue Osborne Vergon; his stepdaughter, Valerie (Alan) King; and his stepson, Cliff King.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Chris will be remembered for his strong work ethic, his love of farm life, and the quiet strength he brought to those around him.
