She was born on October 21, 1955, to the late William Lawrence Stinson and Edna Marie Harness Stinson.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister, Connie Christian.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Wanda is survived by her sons, David (Kelly) Cochran, Drew (Rachel McCaleb) Cochran, and Rene Cochran; siblings, Melody Benz, Regina Woodard, and Craig Stinson; and her cherished grandchildren, Clara, Chloe, Calvin, and Kaelynn Cochran. She also leaves behind her beloved dog, Nemo.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Wanda was raised in Lyles, Tennessee, and was a member of the Class of 1973. After graduation, she entered the workforce, beginning her career at Life &amp; Casualties Insurance Company. This opportunity led to a lifelong career in the insurance industry, where she dedicated many years helping others with their insurance needs.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">She had a love for softball and spent many weekends at the Wrigley ballfields, playing with her team, \u201cThe Bandits.\u201d Wanda was known for her selfless nature, always putting the needs of her family and friends before her own. She was nonjudgmental, never held a grudge, and truly never met a stranger. She found joy in meeting new people and forming lasting friendships.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Wanda also enjoyed the excitement of visiting the riverboat casino, where she loved playing slots and scratch-offs, embracing the thrill and anticipation of the games. She had a playful spirit, often pranking her family, and could frequently be found dancing and singing, bringing laughter and light to those around her.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Visitation with the family will be held on Wednesday, April 22, 2026, from 2:00 PM until 8:00 PM at McDonald Funeral Home in Centerville, Tennessee.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">McDonald Funeral Home is honored to be serving the Cochran family.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Wanda Ann Cochran, age 70, passed away on April 17, 2026.
