Born on August 21, 1941 in Centerville, Tennessee, Joyce spent her life deeply rooted in the community she loved.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Joyce was the beloved wife of Marvin Wayne Lynch whom she married on May 15, 1971 and shared 54 years with Marvin. Marvin was enlisted in the US ARMY and what an adventure started after their marriage, they resided in Texas, Germany, Kentucky and South Carolina. Joyce was a devoted mother to her children Paula (Tommy) Hay of Centerville, Charles (Tonnia) Lynch of Bon Aqua, and Kenneth Lynch of Centerville. She was also a proud grandmother to Annalise Hay and Trenton Lynch. Her family was the center of her world, and she cherished every moment spent with them.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">She was preceded in death by her parents, William Doy Dunn and Nellie Pauline Harrington Dunn, brothers James Robert Dunn, Horace Edward Dunn, and infant William Dunn, as well as her sister Patricia Ann Dunn. Survivors include Johnny Doy (Sherry) Dunn of Nunnelly, and 9 nieces and nephews.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">A woman of faith, Joyce attended Defeated Creek Church of Christ before later becoming a member of Nunnelly Church of Christ. Her faith was evident not only in her worship but also in the way she lived her life, always giving and caring for others.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Joyce found joy in simple pleasures. She loved tending to her flower beds when she was able and had a passion for exploring thrift stores and yard sales. She also had a generous heart; she frequently attended benefits to support those who were sick or in need. Her kindness extended beyond personal connections as she faithfully donated to Saint Jude Children&#8217;s Hospital and regularly filled local blessing boxes to help those less fortunate.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">To those who knew her, Joyce was more than just a wife and mother, she was a cherished presence whose warmth and compassion left an indelible mark on everyone she met. Her absence will be deeply felt by all who loved her.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">May Joyce&#8217;s memory serve as a source of comfort and inspiration to those who mourn her passing.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Visitation with the Lynch family will be held on Thursday, April 23 , 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and Friday, April 24, 2026 from 10:00 &#8211; 11:00 AM at McDonald Funeral Home in Centerville, TN.\u00a0 Funeral Services will be conducted on Friday, April 24, 2026\u00a0 beginning at 11:00 AM.
