Randolph Beaugard Cathey, 75, of Columbia, TN departed this life on April 29, 2026.<\/span><\/p>\n

He was born in Duck River, TN in 1950 to Thomas and Margaret Cathey. He attended Hickman <\/span>County schools and utilized his skills at the IMPACT program of Maury County.<\/span><\/p>\n

Randolph was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Margaret Cathey; brothers, <\/span>Anderson Ghant, Joe Cathey, Samuel Meese Cathey; sisters, Mary Katherine Turner, Billie Ann <\/span>Cathey, and Lucille Booker.<\/span><\/p>\n

He is survived by his loving sisters Robbie Sue Booker, Helen Patterson, and Geraldine Dowell; sisters-in-laws, Betty Jean Cathey and Ida Sue Cathey and a host of nieces and nephews, which will cherish fond memories of him.<\/span><\/p>\n

Visitation with the family will be 1 May 2026 from 5:00 – 7:00 PM at McDonald Funeral Home, Inc. – Hickman County.\u00a0 Graveside Services will be held 2 May 2026 at 1:00 PM at Center Star cemetery, Duck River, TN.<\/span><\/p>\n

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be provided to the Center Star Cemetery via the <\/span>Cheddar Up application: https:\/\/my.cheddarup.com\/c\/center-star-cemetery\/items<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n

The family extends its deepest thanks to the compassionate staff at Magnolia Healthcare and Rehabilitation who cared for Randolph wit<\/span>h kindness, dignity, and respect.<\/span><\/p>\n

The family wishes to express their deepest appreciation and sincere thanks for your kind expressions of sympathy.<\/span><\/p>\n
