In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Thomas Woods Sr.; her daughter, Peggy Kay Woods Duncan; her son, John Thomas Woods Jr.; her grandson, Bobby Dickens; as well as five sisters and two brothers.<\/p>\n<p>Mrs. Woods leaves behind a loving family who will cherish her memory, including her grandchildren, Tommy Duncan, Mark Duncan, Anita Woods, and Charles Woods. She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren. She will be fondly remembered by her nephews, Jeff Lynn, Randy Lynn, and Michael Harrington, and her nieces, Linda Rollins and Sharon Edwards.<\/p>\n<p>Ima Jean found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She had a deep love for crafting, quilting, and gardening, often sharing her talents and creations with those she loved. Her warmth, creativity, and gentle spirit will be remembered by all who knew her.<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"obituary__section\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"obituary__section\">\n<p class=\"obituary__section__title\">Visitation with the family will be 8 May 2026 from 9:00 &#8211; 10:30 AM at McDonald Funeral Home, Inc. &#8211; Hickman County.\u00a0 Graveside Services will be begin at 11:00 AM at Petty Cemetery, Nunnelly, TN.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Ima Jean Woods was born on September 13, 1934, and passed away peacefully on April 29, 2026, at the age of 91.
