He was born on February 14, 1943, to Velma and Ernest Peters. He was a graduate of the University of Tennessee, Knoxville obtaining his bachelor\u2019s degree. Bob worked for the state of Tennessee in the agriculture department. After retiring, Bob loved woodworking and repairing John Deere mowers and tractors.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Carol Ann Peters; a brother-in-law, Jim Webb; nephew Greg Webb; and mother-in-law Ella Mae Hicks.<\/p>\n<p>Bob is survived by his sister, Connie Webb; nephew Josh (Jennifer) Webb and their children Samuel and Emmaline; niece Amanda (Terry) Barnes and their children Trenton, Abigail, Caleb; Jon and Evan Webb, Mary Ann Tarapen, Tammy Knox and special friends Chipper and Tammy Saffles.<\/p>\n<p>Receiving of friends was from 10:00 am-11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 3, 2026 at Sweetwater Memory Chapel. Graveside services followed at 11:00 a.m. at Sweetwater Memorial Park.
