{"id":14593,"date":"2026-05-11T08:50:41","date_gmt":"2026-05-11T12:50:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/tngenweb.org\/lewis\/?p=14593"},"modified":"2026-05-11T08:50:41","modified_gmt":"2026-05-11T12:50:41","slug":"parrish-oneal","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/tngenweb.org\/lewis\/parrish-oneal\/","title":{"rendered":"Parrish, O&#8217;Neal"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">O&#8217;Neal Parrish, age 92, of Linden, passed away peacefully at his home on May 2, 2026.<\/span><\/p>\n<div class=\"image-container w75 storyimage_centeralign\">\n<div class=\"imageDiv\">\n<p class=\"caption\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">He is survived by his brothers, Roger Parrish of Linden, Tennessee, and Larry Parrish of Linden, Tennessee; his sister, Betty Carroll of Centerville, Tennessee; and several cherished nieces and nephews.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">He was preceded in death by his parents, Alpha and Tommy Parrish; his beloved wife, Margaret Parrish; his brothers, Frank Parrish and Vernon Parrish; and his sisters, Eva Chandler and Sue James.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Visitation for Mr. Parrish will be held on Sunday, May 3, 2026, from 12:00 noon until 6:00 p.m., and again on Monday, May 4, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at Parsons Mortuary.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, May 4, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Parsons Mortuary, with burial to follow at Hunt Hill Cemetery.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>O&#8217;Neal Parrish, age 92, of Linden, passed away peacefully at his home on May 2, 2026.
