Brockman, born on December 23, 1956, in Weslaco, Texas, passed away on April 3, 2026, in Columbia, Tennessee, leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness, and devotion to her family, church family, and community.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">She was the daughter of Jose L. Gomez and Nellie S. Carrillo and grew up surrounded by the bonds of a large and loving family. Rosa was preceded in death by her brother, Jose Gomez, Jr, and two infant brothers. She is survived by her husband, Charles A. Brockman, and her children, Jessica Pantoja, Ashley Brockman, Jennifer Pantoja, Joshua &amp; Melissa Brockman, Anthony Pantoja Jr., and Morgan Brockman. She also leaves behind her beloved grandchildren, Kyra Brockman, Michael Pantoja, and Karter Orlando-James McGregor. Her surviving siblings include Marianita Gomez, Elizabeth &amp; Dean Lawrence, Feliciano &amp; Kristen Gomez, Belma &amp; Philip Gardner, Matilde &amp; Tom Reed, Rosario &amp; Omar Hernandez, and Elvia &amp; Rigo Alvarez.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Rosa devoted her life to caring for others, both through her family and her professional work. She earned a degree in Administration and went on to serve for 30 years in Healthcare Administration, where her dedication, compassion, and strong work ethic made a lasting difference. She was respected for her steady leadership and her genuine concern for the well-being of others. Her service extended beyond her career, as she was also active in her community through her involvement with El Centro, a nonprofit for Hispanics, where she served as a board member, and with Harvest America Greater Kansas City, where she served as a grant writer and board member.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Those who knew Rosa will remember her as a loving, funny, and kind woman who carried a selfless heart and a constant smile. She had a gift for making others feel welcome and cared for, and her sense of humor brought joy to many. She especially treasured time spent with her husband, children, and grandchildren, and her love for them was evident in all she did. Her family was the center of her world, and she found great happiness in being present for the people she loved most.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Rosa also enjoyed the simple pleasures of life that reflected her warm spirit. She loved decorating cakes for family and friends, and she enjoyed softball and co-ed volleyball. She appreciated the outdoors, traveling, and the many experiences that came with exploring life alongside her husband and family. Her faith in God and her personal relationship with her Savior, Jesus Christ, were an important part of who she was, and they guided how she lived with grace, generosity, and strength.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Her life was a beautiful example of devotion, resilience, and compassion. Rosa Brockman will be remembered not only for the roles she held and the work she accomplished, but also for the way she made others feel through her presence. She was a woman whose love reached deeply into her family, whose laughter brightened the lives of those around her, and whose kindness left a lasting impression on all who knew her.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of her husband, children, grandchildren, siblings, extended family, and many friends. Though she will be deeply missed, the love she shared and the life she lived will remain a lasting source of comfort and inspiration to all whom she has blessed.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">If the Lord puts it on your heart, the family requests one or both of the following: donations to the Lewis County Cancer Victims Fund in memory of Rosa M. Brockman, and\/or donations to the family to offset funeral expenses. All donations will be collected by Central Christian Fellowship located at 759 Columbia Hwy. Hohenwald, TN 38462.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">The visitation for the celebration of her life will be held on April 18, 2026, from 11:45 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., with services following at 1:15 p.m. at Central Christian Fellowship. We will continue to celebrate her life, as she will be laid to rest at Lewis County Memorial Gardens, with Pastor Chris Bean officiating the services.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Rosa M.
