Danny Everette Dotson, age 75, of Nunnelly, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on September 8, 2025. He was born on May 18, 1950, in Dickson, Tennessee, to the late Robert C. and Helen Jean Hoffman Dotson.<\/span><\/p>\n

In addition to his parents, Danny was preceded in death by his brother, Randy Dotson, sister-in-law, Linda Dotson and brother-in-law Bud Capps.<\/span><\/p>\n

Danny is survived by his son, Scottie (Danielle) Dotson; granddaughter, Taylor (Connor) Sims; sisters, Shirley Capps, Rita (John) Colaggero, Lois (Mike) Reed, and Diane McGahey; brother, Robert Dotson; and a host of extended family members and dear friends.<\/span><\/p>\n

Danny was a man who deeply loved his family and found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He had a passion for \u201cjunking,\u201d fishing, and watching sports. Known for his playful spirit, he loved making others laugh, often giving friends and loved ones nicknames. Gifted with his hands, Danny enjoyed creating and building things\u2014always finding satisfaction in the work he could do himself.<\/span><\/p>\n

His warmth, humor, and generous heart touched many lives. Danny will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.<\/span><\/p>\n

Visitation with the family will be 12 Sep 2025 from 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM at McDonald Funeral Home – Hickman Co with Funeral Services to follow at 2:00 PM.\u00a0 Burial will be at Hilltop Cemetery, Lyles, TN.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
