Glenda was a loving mother, devoted wife, and cherished friend. She proudly retired from the Hickman County School System, where she touched many lives through her dedication and kindness. Her greatest joy was her family, especially supporting her grandchildren-often found in the stands at their sporting events, cheering them on with pride. She also treasured the companionship of her beloved dog, BamBam.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, James Coates. She is survived by her daughters Ginger James (Jeremy) of Centerville and Holly Orozco (Octavio) of Daphne, AL; her grandchildren Lauryn Benfatto (Brandyn), Lindsy Diamante, Anthony Diamante, Courtney James, Jackson Smith, and Chase Orozco; her sisters Peggy Stacey and Judy Bates; her brother Jerry Burlison Sr. (Penny); and many beloved nieces and nephews.<\/p>\n
Funeral services were held on Friday, August 15, 2025, at McDonald Funeral Home in Centerville. Family visitation was from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., with public viewing at 12:00 p.m., and the funeral service at 1:00 p.m.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
