She passed away on Thursday, May 29, 2025, at TriStar Horizon Medical Center, Dickson, TN.<\/p>\n<p>Rose was educated in Beaver, Kentucky. She enjoyed reading bestsellers and shopping in her spare time. Rose dedicated her life to caring for her family, including her husband, Connie Stone, and son, DeShawn Stone. When you saw Rose, you knew Connie and DeShawn were always close by.<\/p>\n<p>Rose began working at Levi\u2019s Strauss in Centerville, TN, at the age of 17 and later worked for Masonite in Dickson, TN. until the birth of her son, DeShawn. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, parents Myrtle Osborne Tackett and Hatler Tackett, brother Zadis, and sisters Dianna, Lucille, and Nina.<\/p>\n<p>Those left to cherish the memory of Rosalee Tackett Stone are her husband Connie Stone, son DeShawn Stone of Lyles, TN. brothers James (Juanita) Tackett and Gary (Emma) Tackett, sisters Betty (Donald) Brown and Alma Tackett of Floyd County Ky. brother-in-law Jeffery Satterfield of Mathis, TX. sister-in-law Janice Stone-Breedlove (Steven) Breedlove of LaVergne, TN. dedicated aunt Mary \u201cPeaches\u201d Anderson, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.<\/p>\n<p>Services for Mrs. Rosalee Tackett Stone are tentatively scheduled to be held at Nelson Frazier Funeral Home located at 7 Clinic Drive, Martin, KY on Wednesday, June 4, 2025.\u00a0 Burial will be at W. J. Hall Cemetery, Grethel, KY.<\/p>\n<p>McDonald Funeral Home in Centerville, Tennessee is honored to be serving the Stone Family during this difficult time.<\/p><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div class=\"obituary-text edit\" style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>\u201cTime is a ship on which we travel, how long the journey, we can\u2019t see. Long ago it was planned and charted by HIM, who knows our destiny!\u201d<\/em><br \/>\n<em>\u201cThough we may pass through troubled waters, one day we\u2019ll reach that peaceful shore.
