Preston was born to the late John \u201cJake\u201d C. and Lucille Manley England in Pinewood, Tennessee on May 19, 1936.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"obituary-text edit\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">In addition to his parents, Preston is preceded in death by his two brothers, Willard England and Rufus England.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"obituary-text edit\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Those left to cherish his memory are his children, Lori (Marty) Garrison, Eric (Donna) England, Marty (Jody) England, Chad England; grandchildren, Derek England, Miranda England, Dallas Garrison, Desi Garrison and Adrianna England; great grandchildren, Kaden England, Declan Carter, Ezra Garrison, Amos Garrison; brother William England; along with a host nieces and nephews.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"obituary-text edit\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Preston was a devoted member of the Church of Christ and after graduating high school joined the Navy.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"obituary-text edit\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Visitation with the family will be 9 May 2025 from 4:00 &#8211; 8:00 PM at McDonald Funeral Home, Inc. &#8211; Hickman County.\u00a0 Funeral Services will be 10 May 2025 at 11:00 AM at McDonald Funeral Home, Inc. &#8211; Hickman County with burial to follow at New Antioch Cemetery, Lyles, TN.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"obituary__section\">\n<div class=\"obituary__section__content\">\n<div class=\"event-8675462 location-block event-block \">\n<div class=\"location-block__body location-block__body--flex\">\n<div class=\"location-block__content\">\n<div class=\"location-block__address\">\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">McDonald Funeral Home in Centerville, Tennessee is honored to be serving the England Family during this difficult time.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>James \u201cPreston\u201d England, age 88 of Lyles, Tennessee, passed away in Dickson, Tennessee on May 7, 2025.
