He entered eternal rest on April 19, 2025, in Lyles, Tennessee, at the age of 78.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"obituary-text edit\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Dorothy Raines. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"obituary-text edit\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Jimmy is survived by his devoted and loving wife of 55 years, Peggy Ann Bradford Neeley; his sister, Donna (Paul) Gossett; brother, Donald Neeley; and a host of beloved family members and dear friends.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"obituary-text edit\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Jimmy had a lifelong passion for classic cars, especially his prized 1938 Chevy sedan, which he lovingly restored. Known for his meticulous nature, he took pride in every detail\u2014whether it was in his work or his sharp sense of style and dress. He especially loved his blue jeans. Jimmy proudly served our country in the United States Army.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"obituary-text edit\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">He and Peggy shared many adventures together, often traveling to Florida and staying active with regular workouts at the Dickson YMCA. Jimmy was a man who loved deeply\u2014his family, his friends, and the life he lived. He will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved him.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"obituary-text edit\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Visitation with the family will be 21 April 2025 from 2:00 &#8211; 8:00 PM and 22 April 2025 from 10:00 AM &#8211; 1:00 PM at McDonald Funeral Home &#8211; Hickman County with Funeral Services to begin at 1:00 PM.\u00a0 Burial will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery, Centerville, TN.\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"obituary-text edit\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">McDonald Funeral Home is proud to be serving the Neeley family.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Jimmy Ray Neeley was born on March 22, 1947, in Dickson, Tennessee, to the late Lloyd Harvey and Loraine Warren Neeley.
