He was born on February 23, 1948, in Hohenwald, Tennessee, to the late Ernest Victor Pace and Ruby Stutts Pace.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Mr. Pace is survived by his beloved wife, Janie Pace, with whom he would have celebrated 53 years of marriage on April 24. He is also survived by his sister, Rebecca (Harold) Whitehead of New Johnsonville, Tennessee, and his brother, Roger (Karen) Pace of Centerville. He was a devoted uncle to Riley, Gina, Matthew, and Randal, and he shared a special bond with his cherished dog, Macy, who was a great source of joy in his life.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">From the early 1960s, Danny owned and operated Pace\u2019s Upholstery, where he became widely known for his meticulous craftsmanship and attention to detail in the art of upholstery. His work left a lasting impression on many who came to know his dedication to quality.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Danny enjoyed the simple pleasures of life. He loved to bow and muzzle-load hunt for turkey, a pastime that brought him peace and joy. He was also an avid fan of games, frequently playing bingo, solving crossword puzzles, and testing his knowledge on the game show Jeopardy!. He found entertainment in watching Nashville Predators hockey and WWE Wrestling, two of his favorite television shows.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Danny will be remembered for his love of family, his passion for his craft, and his joyful spirit. He touched the lives of all who knew him and will be dearly missed by his family, friends, and the community.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Visitation with the family will be 13 Apr 2025 from 12:00 &#8211; 2:00 PM at McDonald Funeral Home &#8211; Hickman County.\u00a0 Funeral Services will begin at 2:00 PM with burial to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery, Centerville, TN.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Danny Lynn Pace, age 77, of Centerville, Tennessee, passed away on April 8, 2025, at St. Thomas Hickman Hospital.
