Brenda Gayle Powers Smith, of Manchester, Tennessee, passed away on April 1, 2025, at St. Thomas Midtown in Nashville, Tennessee, at the age of 64 years.<\/span><\/p>\n

Brenda was born on June 24, 1960, in Waverly, Tennessee, to the late James Oliver and Mildred Gracie Berryman Powers. She was raised in Centerville and was a graduate of the Hickman County High School Class of 1978. For many years, she worked as a drafter at Meriwether Lewis Electric Company, where she was known for her dedication and skill.<\/span><\/p>\n

Brenda is survived by her loving husband, Scott Smith; her daughter, Gracie (Derek) Hartzell of Spring Hill, Tennessee; and her son, Willie Smith of Bradyville, Tennessee. She was also a proud grandmother to Jameson Smith, Elijah Smith, and Cameron Hartzell.<\/span><\/p>\n

Brenda’s family and friends will remember her for her warmth, kindness, and the loving presence she brought to those around her. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
