Littleton, 88, of Lyles, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on March 31, 2025 in Dickson, Tennessee. He was born on June 21, 1936, in Lyles, Tennessee, to the late Archie Isaac and Jimmie Harrington Littleton.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"obituary-text edit\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">In addition to his parents, Oscar was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Mary Magdeline Capps Littleton, and nine siblings. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"obituary-text edit\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">He is survived by his three sons, Mark (Diane) Littleton, Travis Littleton, and Troy (Pamela) Littleton; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and a very special friend to Oscar, Opal Sanders. He also leaves behind a host of extended family members and friends who will cherish his memory.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"obituary-text edit\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Oscar proudly served his country in the United States Army. A true outdoorsman, he found great joy in nature\u2014whether fishing, hunting, or simply admiring God\u2019s creation. He also enjoyed the simple pleasure of trying his luck with lotto scratch-off cards.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"obituary-text edit\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Those who knew Oscar will remember his kindness, resilience, and the warmth he brought into every room. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing and loving him.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"obituary-text edit\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Visitation with the family will be 2 April 2025 from 11:00 AM &#8211; 1:00 PM at McDonald Funeral Home &#8211; Hickman County.\u00a0 Funeral Services will begin at 1:00 PM with burial to follow at Hilltop Cemetery, Lyles, TN.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"obituary-text edit\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">McDonald Funeral Home is honored to be serving the Littleton family.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Oscar J.
