His grandparents, Gerardo and Cristina Campos, along with Vicenta Rubio and Genaro Landaverde, cherished every moment spent with their beloved grandson. Saul&#8217;s early days were filled with the warmth and affection of family, and his presence was a constant source of light and love, and were blessed to experience his strength and resilience. Saul&#8217;s fighting spirit shone brightly as he bravely faced the challenges associated with being an Omphalocele warrior.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Saul&#8217;s interests, though few due to his tender age, were the simple joys of life centered around his interactions with his loving family and caring nurses, reflected his radiant personality and the delight he took in engaging with those around him. The simple joy of FaceTiming with his loved ones was a cherished activity, one that brought smiles and warmth to every call. His fascination with colorful toys and the sound of his mommy and daddy&#8217;s voices filled the rooms of his home with laughter and delight. Saul&#8217;s parents enveloped him in love and care, creating an environment where his sweet demeanor could shine brightly.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Though his time with us was short, Saul&#8217;s impact was profound. He had a unique ability to touch the hearts of people, especially the dedicated nurses at Vanderbilt Children&#8217;s Hospital, with whom he enjoyed regular FaceTime calls. The love and care Saul received during his stays at the hospital were immeasurable. His nurses, who quickly became an extended family, provided him with not just medical care but also immense emotional support.
