Sue was born in Lyles, Tennessee, to the late, Eddie and Johnnie Dell Primm Rochelle on August 24, 1938.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">For many years Sue worked at the Levi&#8217;s Factory, where she took great pride in her craft and the friendships she built along the way. Her skilled hands didn&#8217;t rest when the workday ended. She found joy in hand stitching quilts, carefully piecing together fabric and memories for those she loved. Each stitch told a story and her family treasures the warmth of the quilts she made.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">After retirement, Sue found happiness in life\u2019s simple treasures, especially working jigsaw puzzles. She would spend hours patiently fitting the pieces together. Above all Sue was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She loved her family dearly and cherished every moment spent with them. She will be remembered for her gentle spirit, her kind heart and the love she poured into everything she did.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">In addition to her parents, Sue is reunited in peace with her late daughter, Tammie Denise Beard, and siblings, Irene Hooper, Thomas Rochelle, and Elmer Rochelle.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Left to honor and celebrate her life are her children, Glenda (Sean) Howell, Roger (Janice) Rochelle, Kenneth (Denise) Rochelle and Patricia (Mike) Crutcher; seven grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren and several step grandchildren. Additionally, she is survived by her beloved sisters, Loretta Orton, Reesie Hanes, and brothers, Curtis Rochelle, Wilson Rochelle, Jasper Rochelle, Gerald Rochelle and Marvin Rochelle.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Sue will be dearly missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of sharing in her life.<\/span><\/div>\n<div class=\"obituary-text edit\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Visitation with the family will be 11 Feb 2025 from 10:00 AM &#8211; 12:00 PM at New Antioch Church of Christ, 7424 Primm Springs Road, Lyles, TN.\u00a0 Graveside Services will follow at 12:00 PM at New Antioch Cemetery, 7424 Primm Springs Road, Lyles, TN.\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">McDonald Funeral Home in Centerville, Tennessee is honored to be serving the Rochelle Family during this difficult time.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Thelma \u201cSue\u201d Rochelle, age 86, of Lyles, Tennessee passed away on February 8, 2025, with her daughter&#8217;s hand in hers.
