Charles Overbey was born on January 20, 1936, and passed away on January 23, 2025, at the age of 89.<\/span><\/p>\n

Mr. Overbey is the son of the late Edward and Nora Davis Overbey. He is also preceded in death by his wife Beatrice Overbey, sister Betty Sue Floyd, brother Ray Overbey and brother Cecil Overbey.<\/span><\/p>\n

Mr. Overbey is survived by his daughter Karen (Bryan) Taylor, sister-in-law Gladys Overbey, sister-in-law Alberta Overbey, grandchildren Kassie (Zachary) Tidwell, and Korey Taylor, great grandchildren Thomas Tidwell and Charlotte \u201cCharlie\u201d Tidwell along with several nieces and nephews.<\/span><\/p>\n

Mr. Overbey loved and cherished his family and everyone he met. He worked at the Nashville Bridge Company as a Welder.<\/span><\/p>\n

Visitation with the family will be 25 Jan 2025 from 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM at McDonald Funeral Home, Inc. – Hickman County.\u00a0 Funeral Services will be 26 Jan 2025 at 1:00 PM at McDonald Funeral Home, Inc. – Hickman County with burial to follow at Willow Springs Cemetery, Lyles, TN.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
