He is also preceded in death by his brother Dale Gilbert.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Mr. Gilbert is survived by his wife Janey Gilbert, daughter Kristi Miller, daughter Kim Brewer, stepdaughter Susan Sullivan, stepson Jimmy Tidwell, sister Joyce Bates, 9 grandchildren and a host of great grandchildren.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Mr. Gilbert loved racing and fishing and spending time with his family. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"location-block__title\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Visitation with the family will be 6 Jan 2025 from . 4:00 PM &#8211; 8:00 PM at McDonald Funeral Home &#8211; Hickman County.\u00a0 \u00a0Funeral Services will be held 7 Jan 2025 at 1:00 PM at McDonald Funeral Home &#8211; Hickman County with burial to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery, Centerville, TN.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Shirley Leon Gilbert was born on May 12, 1939, and passed away on January 3, 2025, at the age of 85.
