Bobbie June Newton Kittrell, age 95, passed peacefully into the next life on November 30, 2024,<\/span>
\nat NHC Place at the Trace in Nashville, Tennessee. Her daughter, Kaye, was by her side.<\/span><\/p>\n

Born on September 12, 1929, in Lexington, Alabama, Bobbie June was the third of five children<\/span>
\nborn to Lannie and Jessie Newton. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, she lived a<\/span>
\nlife of unwavering faith and service.<\/span><\/p>\n

Bobbie June was preceded in death by her beloved husband, William B. Kittrell, who passed on<\/span>
\nAugust 20, 2000, her parents, Lannie and Jessie Newton, her daughter, Debbie (Noel) Coleman of<\/span>
\nTotty\u2019s Bend, Tennessee, her older brothers Ottis Newton of Lexington, Alabama, and Corbitt<\/span>
\nNewton of Loretta, Tennessee, and her younger sister Shirley Osborn of Killen, Alabama.<\/span><\/p>\n

She is survived by three of her four cherished children: Kaye Kittrell of Carthage, Tennessee;<\/span>
\nMarty (Jane) Kittrell of Nashville, Tennessee; and Bill (Suzanne) Kittrell of Abingdon, Virginia.<\/span>
\nBobbie June\u2019s legacy also includes nine treasured grandchildren\u2014Jason and Nathan Coleman, Holly Coleman Hanes, Walker and William Kehrer, Elizabeth Williams, Jessi Seaton, Hunter<\/span>
\nKittrell, and Katharine Bailey\u2014and 19 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother<\/span>
\nLindell Newton of Lexington, Alabama, and numerous nieces and nephews.<\/span><\/p>\n

On August 5, 1948, Bobbie June married the love of her life, William B. Kittrell. They settled in<\/span>
\nCenterville, Tennessee, where she lived until her later years when her health necessitated a<\/span>
\nmove to Nashville. A longtime member of the Centerville Church of Christ, Bobbie June faithfully<\/span>
\nserved alongside her husband, contributing tirelessly to the church\u2019s Outreach Center and Bus Garage.<\/span><\/p>\n

A celebration of Bobbie June\u2019s life will be held on Saturday, December 7, 2024, at McDonald<\/span>
\nFuneral Home in Centerville, Tennessee. Visitation with the family will take place from 11:00<\/span>
\na.m. to 2:00 p.m., followed by a memorial service at 2:00 p.m.<\/span><\/p>\n

The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the friendly and compassionate staff at NHC Place<\/span>
\nat the Trace, Senior Helpers, and Caris Healthcare for their loving care.<\/span><\/p>\n

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Bobbie June Kittrell\u2019s name to the<\/span>
