Shirley Sue Scott was born on July 21, 1951, and she went home to be with the Lord on September 18, 2024, at the age of 73.<\/span><\/p>\n

Mrs. Scott is the daughter of the late Ollie Hatcher and Bessie Susie Stanfill Ragsdale. She is also preceded in death by her husband Wilburn \u201cLuke\u201d Scott, brother Ernest Ragsdale, and bonus son Eddie Scott.<\/span><\/p>\n

Mrs. Scott is survived by her children Crystal (Tim) Robison, Charlie (Angie) Scott, Rodney (Michelle) Scott, and Susie Custer. Bonus children Jason (Amanda) Scott, Shanna (David) Cochran, Tonya Mangrum, Terri (Jeremy) Boshers, sisters Joyce (Jerry) Durham, and Sharon Burns (Thomas Axley) along with 14 grandchildren, and 16 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews that she loved as her own.<\/span><\/p>\n

Mrs. Scott enjoyed life and loved spending time with family and friends, and goodwill shopping, and helping others, however the most important to her was Loving and Serving the Lord. She was a member of the Fairfield Baptist Church. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. She was a shining light anywhere she went.<\/span><\/p>\n

The family asks if you wish to give a memorial donation, you may do so to McDonald Funeral Home, Inc. to help offset funeral expenses.<\/span><\/div>\n

Visitation with the family will be 29 Sep 2024 from 5:00 – 9:00 PM at McDonald Funeral Home – Hickman County and 30 Sep 2024 from 9:00 – 11:00 AM at Fairfield Baptist Church, 1863 Hwy 100 E, Centerville, TN with Funeral Services beginning at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow at Hilltop Cemetery, Lyles, TN.\u00a0 \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
