{"id":13000,"date":"2024-11-06T17:00:14","date_gmt":"2024-11-06T22:00:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/tngenweb.org\/lewis\/?p=13000"},"modified":"2024-11-06T17:00:14","modified_gmt":"2024-11-06T22:00:14","slug":"patterson-louise","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/tngenweb.org\/lewis\/patterson-louise\/","title":{"rendered":"Patterson, Louise"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Louise Patterson, born May 30, 1964, to the late Louie Coleman Prince, Sr., passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on August 3, 2024, at the age of 60.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Louise was the daughter of the late Louie Coleman Prince, Sr., and grew up alongside her brothers, Joseph Dewayne Prince and Louie Coleman Prince, Jr., and her late sister, Julia Mae Prince.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Her life was enriched by her loving marriage to the late Melvin Darriel Patterson, with whom she shared many years of joy and companionship until his passing just 25 days before hers.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">She is survived by her daughter, Rachel (Dee) Eddington; son, Melvin &#8220;Bubba&#8221; (Angie) Patterson; daughter, Carrie (Donnie) Lampley; brothers, Joseph Dewayne Prince and Louie Coleman Prince, Jr.; and cherished grandchildren, Lainden, Shelby, Alex, Cooper, Luke, Brice, Daly, and Delaney, along with a host of special aunts, uncles, nieces &amp; nephews.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Louise was the epitome of a nurturing mother and the cornerstone of her children&#8217;s lives, ensuring they never missed a sports practice or game and that school activities were attended with enthusiasm. Her creativity shone brightly as she crafted costumes and posters for their school projects, always striving to make them the best they could be.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Louise had an adventurous spirit, loving to camp, travel, and explore new destinations. She found both peace and excitement in fishing. Ever the explorer, she never missed an opportunity to discover treasures at local yard sales, and she never missed the annual tradition of attending Octoberfest, walking the miles and miles of yard sales. Autumn Saturdays often found her immersed in UT football games, a tradition she lovingly shared with her husband.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Above all, though, it was her role as a grandmother that brought her the greatest joy. Each grandchild was a treasure, and her heart swelled with love and pride for each one.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">A visitation with the family was held on Monday, August 5 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at McDonald Funeral Home in Hohenwald, TN.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Funeral Services were held on Tuesday, August 6 at 1:00 PM at McDonald Funeral Home, with burial in the Napier Cemetery.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">McDonald Funeral Home is honored to be serving the Patterson family.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Louise Patterson, born May 30, 1964, to the late Louie Coleman Prince, Sr., passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on August 3, 2024, at the age of 60.
