He was born to the late Lummie and Maddie Allen Moss on October 5, 1941.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"obituary-text edit\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">From a young age Dairl found joy in the simplicity and fulfillment of working on the farm. His tractor was more than just a machine; it was a companion on countless early mornings and late evenings, tending to his land. Dairl also found joy and relaxation on the golf course. He was a man of simple pleasures and profound values. Dairl loved being outdoors, but his greatest joy was his family.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"obituary-text edit\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">In addition to his parents Dairl is preceded in death by his brother Wayne Moss and sister Martha Lampley.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"obituary-text edit\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Dairl is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Joyce Lewis Moss of Lyles, Tennessee, son Dairl Frank Moss Jr., of Louisville, Kentucky, daughter Christie Cline of Valdosta, Georgia, son Jonathan Moss of Dickson, Tennessee, sister Diane Cressand of Bossier City, Louisiana, sister Glenda Martin of Centerville, Tennessee, sister Anita Mangrum of Bon Aqua, Tennessee, four grand-daughters and three great-grandchildren. Dairl leaves behind a legacy of hard work and love and will be dearly missed by all who knew him.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"obituary-text edit\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Visitation with the family will be 28 May 2024 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at McDonald Funeral Home, Inc. &#8211; Hickman County.\u00a0 Funeral Services will begin at 1:00 PM at McDonald Funeral Home, Inc. &#8211; Hickman County with burial to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery, Centerville, TN.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"obituary-text edit\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">McDonald Funeral Home is honored to be serving the Moss family during this difficult time.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Dairl Frank Moss, a beloved husband, father and friend, age 82 of Lyles, Tennessee passed away at his home on May 25, 2024.
