Robert was born on June 13, 1930, to the late Jack Taylor and Katherine Gill in Michigan.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"obituary-text edit\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Robert was a kind patient man and always made his family a priority over anything else. He graduated high school in Idaho, then joined the Army during the Korean War Era. Robert later moved to Tennessee, met a young lady that worked at her family&#8217;s store, known as Hill&#8217;s Grocery. They married and started a family in Totty&#8217;s Bend. Robert was a mail carrier for the Centerville Post Office where he later retired from in 1990. Robert enjoyed visiting all his dear friends at the senior citizens center.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"obituary-text edit\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">In addition to his parents Robert is preceded in death by his wife Mary Taylor Hill, daughter, Kim Taylor, brother Dale Taylor and two great-grandchildren.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"obituary-text edit\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Those left to cherish his memory are daughters, Rhonda Taylor of Centerville, Tennessee, daughter Christy (Joey) Richardson of Centerville, Tennessee, sisters, Joyce Beasley, Barbara Beasley, brother Don Taylor, grandchildren, Alisha Richardson, Sydney Gilliam, Baily Richardson and two great-grandchildren.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"obituary-text edit\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Robert leaves behind a legacy of love, sacrifice and the joy of meaningful connections.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"obituary-text edit\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Visitation with the family will be 13 Mar 2024 from 9:00 &#8211; 11:00 AM at McDonald Funeral Home &#8211; Hickman County.
