She was born on September 23, 1958, in Hampshire, TN to the late Clyde Cletus Vaughn, Sr. and Wilma Jean (Estes) Vaughn.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Joyce was a hard worker, spending many long, hot days in the tobacco fields. She had a knack for finding treasures that made her well-known at our local yard sales, earning her the title of the &#8220;yard sale queen.&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">For over 15 years, Joyce was a familiar face at the ballpark&#8217;s concessions stand, where her presence became a huge part of the event itself. She never missed a game or event involving her children or grandchildren, her unwavering support is something they will always cherish.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Joyce was famous in her family for her chocolate oatmeal cookies. These treats were a beloved staple at family gatherings and among her neighbors, who fondly called her the &#8220;Mayor of North Pine.&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">In addition to her parents, Cyde and Wilma, she is also preceded in death by her husband, Billy Robin Runions and her granddaughter, Abby Carter.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Joyce leaves behind her children, Eddie (Michelle) Runions, Bobby (Angela) Runions, Dixie (Scott) Kolinski, Ashley (Jonathan) Pugh, and Paula Runions; siblings, Bertha (Joe) Fowlkes, Wilma Sue Carney, Ethel Hinson, Clyde Vaughn, Jr., Jimmy (Pauline) Vaughn, Sr., Paul (Teresa) Vaughn; grandchildren, Jasmine Kolinski, Taylor Clark, Hunter Runions, Dakoda Runions, Dillan Runions, Daultan Runions, Kally Runions, Payton Tripp, and Preston Tripp; and great-grandchildren, Levi Carter, Kellie Carter, and Alayah Carter.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Visitation with the Runions family will be from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, February 12, 2024, at McDonald Funeral Home &#8211; Lewis County. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 13, 2024, in the chapel of McDonald Funeral Home &#8211; Lewis County with Rodney Hinson officiating.
