Martha Frances Leath was born in Somerville, TN on December 8, 1935 to the late Foriest and Frances Byars Cooper, and entered eternal rest on October 9, 2023 at the age of 87. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband Malcolm Leath.<\/span><\/p>\n

She leaves behind her loving family, daughters Pamela (Patrick) Clayton, Cynthia Leath, Mary (Howell) Ferguson, Lori (Brian) Woods, and Martha (Wally) Scaife, brothers Fred and Paul Cooper, and her sister Millie Middleton, Grandchildren Richard Clayton, Brian Clayton, Anna Honshell, Adam Lorenson, Jimmy Long, Katie Long, Stevy Odom, Cody Woods, Sarah Hall, Seth Ferguson, Nathan Ferguson, Nikki Boals, Natalie Flournoy, and Holli Williams, 35 Great-grandchildren and 8 Great great-grandchildren.<\/span><\/p>\n

Martha worked for the Gospel Advocate in Memphis, and as a nurses aide, but her most cherished job was as a homemaker for her family, she was a member of the Centerville Church of Christ,<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Visitation with the family will be 11 Oct 2023 from <\/span>4:00 PM – 9:00 PM T <\/span>McDonald Funeral Home, Inc. – Hickman County.\u00a0 Funeral Services will be\u00a0 12 Oct 2023 at <\/span>10:00 AM at <\/span>McDonald Funeral Home, Inc. – Hickman County with burial to follow at Forrest Hills Cemetery, Bartlett, TN.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
