He was born in Hohenwald on December 16, 1953 to the late Mack Allen Runions and Rebecca (Himes) Runions.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Billy was an avid fisherman, he spent countless hours by the water. He enjoyed hunting and the calm of the woods around him. Billy&#8217;s hands were rarely idle. He had a knack for tinkering with vehicles, turning rusted pieces into shiny treasures.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Donald Runions, his sisters, Martha Runions, Margaret Runions, Lillian Runions, and Nettie Runions, and his granddaughter, Abby Carter.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his beloved wife, Joyce (Vaughn) Runions; children, Eddie (Michelle) Runions, Bobby (Angela) Runions, Dixie (Scott) Kolinski, Ashley (Jonathan) Pugh, and Paula Runions; siblings, Roy Runions, Joe Runions, and Daisy Runions; grandchildren, Jasmine Kolinski, Taylor Clark, Hunter Runions, Dakoda Runions, Dillan Runions, Daultan Runions, Kally Runions, Payton Tripp, and Preston Tripp; and great-grandchildren, Levi Carter, Kellie Carter, and Alayah Carter.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Billy Robin Runions was a man who embraced life with both hands. He was a fisherman, a hunter, a mechanic, and a friend to many. He is now resting peacefully with his best friends, Roy Hinson and Roger Davidson.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Visitation with the Runions family will be held on Sunday, September 17, 2023, from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. in the chapel of McDonald Funeral Home &#8211; Lewis County. Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 18, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of McDonald Funeral Home &#8211; Lewis County with Rodney Hinson officiating.
