Christine Capps Homan was born on June 1, 1937, in Lyles, Tennessee, and passed away on July 28, 2023, in Waverly, Tennessee. She was 86 years old.<\/p>\n

She is the daughter of the late Robert Capps and Sallie Brownie Martin Capps.<\/p>\n

She was also preceded in death by her husband David Trice Homan and brother W.C. Capps.<\/p>\n

She is survived by her daughters, Donna Brake of Waverly, TN, Christy Jenkins of Centerville, TN, Rebecca Rainey of Lyles, TN, and Penny Clark of Houston County, TN. 11 Grandchildren and 12 Great Grandchildren. Brother, Robert Lester Capps of Lyles, TN. Sisters, Sadie L. Stone of Lyles, TN, and Robbie Hester Pullen of Lyles, TN. Along with many other relatives, friends, and loved ones.<\/p>\n

Mrs. Christine worked for many years at Levi Strauss.<\/p>\n

She loved the Lord and was a devout minister’s wife. She and David were avid gardeners and loved tending to one all of their lives. She was known to give out her canned goods and made sure you knew she wanted her jar back. She loved to do embroidery and work puzzles.<\/p>\n

Mrs. Christine will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Visitation with the family will be 30 July 2023 from 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM at McDonald Funeral Home, Inc. – Hickman County.\u00a0 Funeral Services will be 31 July 2023 at 10:00 AM at McDonald Funeral Home, Inc. – Hickman County with burial to follow at Charles L Nickell Memorial Park, Centerville, TN.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
