Mr. Frank Rogers Holt passed from his earthly life on Wednesday, June 28, 2023 at the age of 89. He was born on November 21, 1933 in Mount Pleasant, TN to the late Pete Holt & Marie Pitts Holt.<\/span><\/p>\n

Frank was truly a jack of all trades. He had many jobs throughout his lifetime but most recently was a bridge builder. He was a dedicated, hard-working man. Frank could often be found sitting on his carport drinking a cup of coffee or out picking tomatoes. He was truly selfless and would do anything he could for anyone. He loved election day and even once said “if I can just live to see election day”. Above all, Frank was a loving family man.<\/span><\/p>\n

Frank leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife of 50 years Hilda Faye Holt; children Clyde (Tammy) Fields, Darryl (Sherry) Holt, Sherryl (Jeff) Waldrop, Ritchie (Kim) Holt, Eric (Sharon) Holt; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.<\/span><\/p>\n

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers Ted Holt, Leon Holt, Joe Holt, Bill Holt; sisters Gladys Thornhill, Edna Dugger, Bertha Kelley, Rachel Mayo, Bonnie Hinson, Nettie Sue Hinson, Carolyn Page and Margaret Taylor.<\/span><\/p>\n

Visitation with Mr. Holt’s family will begin at 11:00 AM on Saturday, July 1, 2023 at McDonald Funeral Home – Lewis County.\u00a0 \u00a0Funeral services will begin at 1:00 PM on Saturday, July 1, 2023 in the chapel of McDonald Funeral Home – Lewis County with Jeff Waldrop officiating. Burial services with Navy military honors will follow in Loveless Cemetery, Hohenwald, TN.<\/span><\/p>\n

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Spencer Hill Church of Christ in Mr. Holt’s memory.<\/span><\/p>\n
