For the first time in several years, Billy stood up and walked, right into the arms of his Savior. He was reunited with his eldest daughter, Heather, his precious \u201cSunny Girl\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Billy was born September 17, 1957 in Rose Pine, LA. He was 65 years old. He called Greers Ferry, AR home until he relocated to Hohenwald, TN in 2006 and was proud to call it home. He recently retired as the Senior Pastor at The Assembly at Hohenwald. He was also recently inducted into the Hall of Champions by the Tennessee District Assemblies of God Ministry Network, a prestigious honor also held by his late uncle, Harvey Meek. Billy devoted his life to loving and serving others, just as Christ commanded.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">He is preceded in death by his parents, Bill Sr. and Phyllis Jean, his daughter, Heather Gibson, and many grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins. He is survived by his wife of nearly 45 years, Pam Meek, his daughters, Rhonda Bray and Melissa Meek, his son, Billy L Meek III, grandchildren Gabriel, Kaden, Jacob, Cody, Alexander, Layla, Billy IV, Titus, and one great-granddaughter Koralynn. Billy also leaves behind one daughter-in-law, Kaci Meek one son-in-law, Jason Bray, two sisters-in-law, two brothers-in-law, several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and so many friends.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Billy was the center of his family, friends, and church, and will be desperately missed by so many. To be loved by Billy was nothing short of a blessing. If he could leave you with any final words, they would no doubt be \u201cif no one has told you today, I love you, real big.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Family will receive friends Thursday, April 20, 2023, from 3-6pm at the Assembly at Hohenwald, 1776 Summertown Highway, Hohenwald, TN 38462. The service and celebration of all Billy meant to so many will immediately follow at 6:00pm.
