He was a native of Lawrence County, owner of By-Pass Pools, and of the Baptist faith. He loved his family, enjoyed drag racing, classic cars, and hot rods. Mr. Rawdon served his country honorably in the U.S. Army.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">He was preceded in death by his parents, Levi Edwin and Iva Margaret Burleson Rawdon; one brother, Dwayne Rawdon, and one sister, Ruby Walker.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Shirley Rawdon of Summertown; a daughter, Wendy Gray (Scottie); a son, Shane Rawdon (Regina) both of Summertown; six grandchildren, Zach Gray (Lauren) of Ethridge, Blake Gray (Becca), Daniel Beasley (Ashtyn), Sara Couch (Tanner), Makaylie Schumacher (Bradley), and Makenzie Rawdon all of Summertown; and ten great-grandchildren, Boone Gray of Ethridge, Clark Gray of Ethridge, Halle Gray of Summertown, Mila Gray of Summertown, Riker Gray (expected July 2023), Lillian Beasley, River Couch, Myles Couch, Addie Schumacher, and Archer Schumacher all of Summertown.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, Lawrenceburg. Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 2:00 p.m. today, Thursday, March 30, 2023, with Howard Kitter officiating.
