On February 5, 2023, Barbara Fay Cunningham passed peacefully in her sleep after a long struggle to recover from a fall in September. She would have turned 80 on April 30.<\/span><\/p>\n

She was preceded In death by her parents, Danville and Elise (Mathis) Whitwell, and her sister, Linda Kay Whitwell.<\/span><\/p>\n

She is survived by her \u201cOne True Love\u201d, Ronald Cunningham, for 60 wonderful years this year. Her daughter, Kim Simmons (Charles), son, Todd Cunningham (Tracy), Grandchildren, Ashley Henson (Lane), Kyle Black (Amber), Ryan Simmons (Chelsea), Jace, Jaden and Jencyn Cunningham, Great grandchildren, Bryson and Star Henson, Rylan, Phoebe, Finnegan and Dansby Black, and Braylynn Simmons. <\/span><\/p>\n

She loved God first! But her family meant everything to her. They were her greatest blessing! She loved to crochet anything, the Beach was her \u201cHappy Place\u201d. She loved watching the kids ballgames, Vols were her team and Chocolate Chip Cookies were her trademark! She was LOVED by ALL and will be MISSED by ALL!<\/span><\/p>\n
