He was 65 years old.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">He is the son of the late Waymon &#8220;Fat&#8221; Mitchell Sharpe and Willie Dee Bailey Sharpe.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">He is survived by his brother, Michael Ray Sharpe (Lisa) of Centerville. Sister, Patricia Givens (Buddy) of Centerville. Nephews, Chad Carroll and Christoper Michael Sharpe. Niece, Pricilla Love. Great-nephew, Landon Michael Carroll. Great-nieces, Alexis and Aleah Love. Along with many other relatives, friends, and loved ones.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">When Terry was able he attended the Byers Chapel Church.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Terry was in the tire business his entire working life. He worked for Goodyear in Centerville, the Co-Op, the Hickman County Garage, and Owen&#8217;s Oil Company for many years. He loved his work and was well-known in Centerville for it.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Sharpie loved the outdoors. In his younger days, he would often ride quarter horses with his brother Michael. He was an avid hunter. He liked to deer and turkey hunt but was truly a squirrel-killing machine. He spent countless hours in the woods and from that there are countless stories that can be told by those lucky enough to spend that time with him. He liked to tell jokes and could sell you on a story. Terry was a regular at Homestead Restaurant for their breakfast.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Terry was loved by everyone that met him. Even his doctors were close to him and took the time to check on him often. He will be missed by all of his family, and by the Centerville Community.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Visitation with the family will be 12 January 2023 at 3:00 PM at McDonald Funeral Home &#8211; Hickman County.\u00a0 Funeral Services will be 13 January 2023 at 2:00 PM at McDonald Funeral Home &#8211; Hickman County with burial to follow at Campground Cemetery, Centerville, TN.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Terry &#8220;Sharpie&#8221; Wayne Sharpe was born on November 13, 1957, in Dickson, Tennessee, and passed away on January 10, 2023, in Nashville, Tennessee.
