Evenson of Grand Blanc, Michigan, age 95, died Monday, October 10, 2022.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Robert was born on April 13, 1927 in LaCrosse, Wisconsin to Herman and Lillian (Holtze) Evenson.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Robert served in the US Navy on the USS Hornet from 1945 &#8211; 1946. Robert (Bob) worked as a tool and die maker at GM Truck and Bus (Union 659) until his retirement in 1996. He married his wife Linda (Millikan) on February 7, 1975 and blended their families. They are members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He is also a member of the VFW. He enjoyed many hobbies to include reading, singing, camping and his love of old cars.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">He is survived by wife, Linda; children, Cindy (Dennis) Wilbett of Hohenwald, Debbie Derk, Eric (Kim) Evenson, David (Hollie) Millikan, Chris (Tammy) Millikan, Todd Millikan and Suzanna (Phillip Howell) Jobe and Brian Vliet; 23 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Cremation has already taken place and a military service will be held on October 27 at 2 p.m. at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly Michigan.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to Great Lakes National Cemetery, Disabled Vets or Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints of Grand Blanc, Michigan.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Robert L.
