Being at home with her children allowed her to have numerous hobbies in the house. She was a wonderful cook and baker, making the best-fried chicken and cakes. Her home was always open and welcomed many people for supper. She was also an excellent seamstress, making many smocked dresses and even making her daughter-in-law Barbara Cameron’s wedding dress.
