He was 73 years old.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">He is the son of the late Harold Clayton Groves Sr. and Dorothy Sue Garrison Groves.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">He was also preceded in death by his sisters, Carolyn Malin and Gloria McKenna.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">He is survived by his wife, Linda Sawyer Groves. Son Clayton Groves. Daughter, Lora (James) Smith. Grandchildren, Christa And Evee. Along with many other relatives, friends. and loved ones.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Mr. Groves was a veteran of the United States Army and a Retiree of the Tennessee National Guard.\u00a0 \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Visitation with the family will be August 30, 2022 from\u00a0 4:00 &#8211; 9:00 PM at McDonald Funeral Home &#8211; Hickman County.\u00a0 Funeral Services will be\u00a0 August 31, 2022 at 2:00 PM at McDonald Funeral Home.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Harold &#8220;Tony&#8221; Clayton Groves was born on April 13, 1949 in Springfield, Tennessee and passed away on August 26, 2022 in Columbia, Tennessee.
