She was a 1967 graduate of Wayne County High School in Waynesboro, TN. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"obituary-text edit\" data-server-action=\"\/obituaries\/Patricia-Smith-187\/ProcessUpdateTributeObituary\" data-editclass=\"edit-obituary\" data-fieldtype=\"textarea\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Patricia was a loving and joyful woman who devoted her life to Jesus and her family. She was a fantastic cook and enjoyed gardening, genealogy, watching movies, and spending time with her family. She was a former employee of Genesco\/Laredo Code West.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"obituary-text edit\" data-server-action=\"\/obituaries\/Patricia-Smith-187\/ProcessUpdateTributeObituary\" data-editclass=\"edit-obituary\" data-fieldtype=\"textarea\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">In addition to her parents, Patricia was also preceded in death by a brother, Daniel Mason; and step-father Houston Adcock.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"obituary-text edit\" data-server-action=\"\/obituaries\/Patricia-Smith-187\/ProcessUpdateTributeObituary\" data-editclass=\"edit-obituary\" data-fieldtype=\"textarea\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Survivors include her loving husband of nearly 54 years, Joe Smith, Sr.; son and daughter-in-law, Joe Jr. and Sandi Smith; daughter and son-in-law. Crystal and Gary Nash; grandchildren, J. C. Smith, Jennie (Smith) Burns, Adam Smith, and Jesse Nash; several great-grandchildren; and siblings Dave Mason and Susan (Mason) Jackson.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"obituary-text edit\" data-server-action=\"\/obituaries\/Patricia-Smith-187\/ProcessUpdateTributeObituary\" data-editclass=\"edit-obituary\" data-fieldtype=\"textarea\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Funeral services were held at Saturday, June 18, 2022 at 11 a.m. at McDonald Funeral Home. A special eulogy was given by her daughter Crystal Nash. Internment was at Swiss Cemetery, Hohenwald, TN. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"obituary-text edit\" data-server-action=\"\/obituaries\/Patricia-Smith-187\/ProcessUpdateTributeObituary\" data-editclass=\"edit-obituary\" data-fieldtype=\"textarea\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">In lieu of flowers, donations made be made in memory of Patricia to Lewis County Public Library and Archives, 15 Kyle Avenue Hohenwald, TN 38462.
