Willodean Elizabeth Rasbury Weldon (Dean), age 93, of Lusby Maryland passed away <\/span>on Monday, May 23, 2022.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Willodean was born September 28, 1928, in Kutch Hollow, <\/span>Wayne County Tennessee to Clyde and Marie Rasbury. She attended Martin Methodist <\/span>Junior College and graduated from Tennessee Tech with a BS Degree in Education.\u00a0 <\/span>Dean taught elementary school in Wayne County Tennessee, Warrenton Virginia, and <\/span>Prince George’s County Maryland where she retired.\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n

Dean was a member of the <\/span>Maryland Chapter of Alpha Delta Kappa (ADK) sorority since April of 1960 where she<\/span>
\nwas a Diamond sister.\u00a0 She enjoyed spending time with her family, traveling with her <\/span>friends, gardening, china painting, ceramics, and cross-stitch. <\/span>Dean was a beloved wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

She is preceded by her husband, Alton Weldon. parents, Clyde and Marie Rasbury. <\/span>Siblings, Jean Parsley, Ed Rasbury, Tom Rasbury, and Catherine Fancher.\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n

She is <\/span>survived by her children Steve and Cindy Weldon, Michael Weldon, Donald Weldon and <\/span>Sonja Carroll, grandchildren, Jessica Bunker, Angela Weldon, Kristen Wiley, Kaitlyn <\/span>Weldon, Andrew Weldon, Ashley Donahoo, Jordan Paskowski, Travis Weldon, and <\/span>Savannah Carroll.\u00a0 Great-grandchildren, Katie Stembridge, Salvatore Merone, Gabriel <\/span>Rios, Isabella Rios, Delaney Donahoo, Declan Donahoo, Evelyn Donahoo, and Callan <\/span>Paskowski. <\/span><\/p>\n

Visitation with the family will be held on Friday, June 3, 2022 from 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM at the McDonald Funeral Home – Lewis County. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, June 4, 2022 beginning at 1:00 PM. Burial will follow in the Swiss Cemetery, Hohenwald, TN.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n
