Mr. Hicks was a retired heavy machine operator and former deputy with the Decatur County Sheriff&#8217;s Department.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">He is survived by one son, Marc Hicks and wife Kelly of Gadsden; three daughters, Angela Pollock and husband Jay of Hohenwald, Kenya Hicks and Angel Tucker, both of Lexington; sister, Shelia Blankenship and husband Scott of Gadsden; brother, Mark Hicks of Perryville. Other survivors include thirteen grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">A funeral service to celebrate the life of Mr. Hicks were conducted Saturday, May 7, 2022 in the chapel of Oakdale-Decatur County with Bro.
