Melissa was born in Marion, Indiana on March 27, 1968, to Jan Allan Mayer and the late Patricia Lee Mudd Mosier.\u00a0 Along with her mother she was preceded in death by her stepfather Ronnie Mosier and son in law Nathan Reeves.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Missy has struggled in the past but has been sober for nearly nine months and doing well. A month ago, she was diagnosed with meningitis and fought hard to the very end. She enjoyed nothing more than spending every free moment she had with her grandchildren and family. \u00a0Her world revolved around each of them.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">She leaves behind to cherish and carry on her memory, her\u00a0daughters Jamie Reeves and Mary Smith; siblings John Mosier and Susan Woodcox; and her precious grandchildren Kendra Mosier, Julian Smith, and Ethan and Easten Reeves.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">A private memorial will be held with family and close friends at a later date.
