She was preceded in death by her daughter, Donna Nutt Bledsoe; parents, Alton C. and Laura Thomas Greer; brothers, Knox, Max, William Alvin, and Curtis Greer; sisters, Marine Griffith, Maureen Barger, and Florence Henley.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"obituary-text edit\" data-server-action=\"\/obituaries\/Brenda-Nutt\/ProcessUpdateTributeObituary\" data-editclass=\"edit-obituary\" data-fieldtype=\"textarea\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">She is survived by her husband of sixty-five years, John William &#8220;Bill&#8221; Nutt. Son John Harold (Cynthia) Nutt, daughter Jonna (Steve) Runyon; son-in-law, Ricky Bledsoe; seven grandchildren, Kori Bledsoe (Jarrett) Jones, Drew (Chelsey) Bledsoe, Amanda Nutt (Brandon) Powell, Alison Nutt, Adam Runyon, Tucker Runyon, and Mary Runyon; six great-grandchildren; brothers, James Roland (Kathy) Greer, Tom (Kaye) Greer; sister, Anita Faye Greer Cook; and a multitude of friends and extended family.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"obituary-text edit\" data-server-action=\"\/obituaries\/Brenda-Nutt\/ProcessUpdateTributeObituary\" data-editclass=\"edit-obituary\" data-fieldtype=\"textarea\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Brenda worked for Kroger Company for many years, retiring in 2005. Prior to that, she drove a school bus for the Williamson County School system both for regular school delivery and for many sporting events. She was a member of the Five Points Church of Christ in Bon Aqua, TN. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Five Points Church of Christ.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"obituary-text edit\" data-server-action=\"\/obituaries\/Brenda-Nutt\/ProcessUpdateTributeObituary\" data-editclass=\"edit-obituary\" data-fieldtype=\"textarea\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">An urn burial in Five Points Cemetery, Bon Aqua, TN, will be held at a later date.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"services-events\">\n<div class=\"cemetery\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Brenda Greer Nutt, age 82, died at her home on April 28, 2022, surrounded by family and friends.
