Worley, Jeffrey Allen
Jeffery Allen Worley, affectionately known as “Uncle Jeff,” passed away peacefully on September 26, 2023, in Duck River, TN. He was born on March 27, 1970, in Shreveport, LA, to the late Nathan Davis and Mary Jones and William A. Worley and Patsy Hodges McCalman. Jeffery was a devoted father, sibling, uncle, and friend, known for his friendly demeanor, loving heart, and humorous personality.
Jeffery was a true outdoorsman, with a passion for hunting and fishing. His love for the outdoors was only second to the joy he found in his family and friends. He was a playful spirit who loved to aggravate and pick on his loved ones, always ensuring a room filled with laughter. His funny antics and friendly banter were the highlights of every family gathering, making him a favorite among relatives and friends.
He is survived by his children Tayla (Aaron) Gilbeau, Matthew (Haily) Davis, Kristopher Lindsey, Alissa Neblett, and Taylor Lewis. Uncle Jeff’s legacy will continue through his grandchildren Ellie, Aspen, River, Amaris, Madelyn, Zanyiah, Xander, and Braylon. His memory will be cherished by his stepfather, Franklin R. McCalman, and his sisters Lisa (Tommy) Moon, Gina Neff, Linda Phillips, Kristian (Dwight) Hawley, Sandra Davis, Mary (Kenneth) Stephenson, and Toni Davis. Jeffery also leaves behind his brothers Micheal (Keshan) Davis, Curtis Davis, David (Rebecca) Baxter, Dennis Warren, and Kenny (Debbie) Porter. His aunts Lagratha (Terry) Bell and Sue Worley will remember him fondly, along with Barbara Davis, Tricia Lindsey, and a large extended family of nieces and nephews.
Jeffery was preceded in death by his parents, Nathan Davis and Mary Jones, William A. Worley, and Patsy Hodges McCalman. His grandparents Johnny and Louise Hodges and Arthor and Gertrude Worley also preceded him.
Jeffery Allen Worley was a man who lived life to the fullest, always with a smile on his face and a joke on his lips. His legacy is one of laughter, love, and family, and he will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. His spirit will continue to live on through the many stories shared and memories created with those he left behind.
A celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held Saturday October 14, 2023, at First Baptist Church Hohenwald beginning at 11:00 am. Brother John Rawdon will be officiating.
