John “Jack” Glenn Wood Jr. was born on January 3, 1935 and passed away on November 8, 2019 at the age of 84.

Jack is described by his family as a “character,” who loved to joke. He was an avid golfer and hunter. He also enjoyed woodworking. He was a member of the Centerville Church of Christ, the Knights of Pythias and a Tulipwood board member. He served as a Second Lieutenant in the Army.

Jack is preceded in death by his parents, Elizabeth Forbes and John Wood Sr. and his sister, Barbara McDaniel.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara Causey Wood; son, John Wood III (Christie); daughter, Tracy Wright (Nickey); and grandchildren, Nicole Wright, Blane Wright, John Wright, Rachel Eddington, and Kaci Wood.

Visitation with the family will be held at the McDonald Funeral Home – Hickman County on November 10th beginning from 4:00-8:00 PM and 10 Nov 2019 from 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM.  Funeral services will be held at McDonald Funeral Home in Centerville, TN on Sunday, Nov 10, 2019 at 3:00 PM. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery, Centerville, TN.
