Woerner, Don Erwin
Don Erwin Woerner, of Centerville, was born in Pensacola, Florida, on December 18, 1948, to Lillie Wheeler and the late Oscar Woerner. Don died December 5, 2020, at the age of 71 years. A man of courage, optimism, and wisdom, Don was used by God in many lives.
In addition to his mother, Don is survived by his wife of 45 years, Diane Gilbert Woerner, daughter Amy Woerner of Nashville, sons David Woerner of Franklin, Stephen (Laura) Woerner of Montgomery, Alabama, Nathan (Maryah) Woerner of Tokyo, Japan, and John (Anna) Woerner of Spring Hill, and 10 grandchildren. Don is also survived by sisters Karen Smith, Vicki Corporaal, and Jan Stephens and brothers Earl Woerner and Clark Woerner, and many nieces and nephews.
Don was self-employed as an entrepreneur and attended Station Hill Church.
Graveside services for Mr. Woerner will be Friday, December 11, 2020, at Wade-Peeler Cemetery beginning at 1:00 p.m. Jay Strother will officiate the service.
