Winters, Mary Evelyn
In addition to her parents, Evelyn was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Joe Allen Winters; her son Steven Ray Sisk, her sisters, Marie Bates, Clara Nell Brown, and Henrietta Rochelle; and her brother, Roger O’Guin.
She is survived by her sons, John Sisk, Eric Sisk, and Ashley Winters; her sisters, Rebecca Carroll, Louise O’Guin, and Marcella Breece; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Evelyn deeply loved her family and cherished all those around her. She was a talented cook, best known for her homemade vegetable soup and freshly brewed coffee. A lover of all music, she especially enjoyed Country and Elvis Presley. Evelyn found joy in simple pleasures—yard sales, thrift stores, and collecting dolls brought her great happiness.
Throughout her life, Evelyn devoted herself to the service of others, earning the admiration and respect of many as a beloved waitress. Her kindness, warmth, and unwavering friendship left a lasting impression on all who knew her.
If Evelyn was your friend, you had a true and loyal companion. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all whose lives she touched.
