Mr. Richard Earl Whitehead, of Hohenwald, TN, passed away on Friday, December 17, 2021, at the age of 84. Richard was born on October 16, 1937, to Harvel Whitehead and Vera (Clay) Whitehead in Wayne County. He worked for Murray Ohio for many years before his retirement.

Richard was married to the love of his life, Elizabeth, until her passing years ago. He was a dedicated member of the North Highland Church of Christ until his health kept him from going.

He is survived by his sons, Greg (Theresa) Whitehead, of Hohenwald, and Jason Whitehead, of Waynesboro, TN. He also leaves behind one sister, Shirley White, 4 grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren.

Visitation with the family will be held on Sunday, December 19, 2021 from 6:00-9:00 PM in the McDonald Funeral Home Chapel – Lewis County. Funeral services will follow on Monday, December 20, 2021 at 10:00 AM in the McDonald Funeral Home Chapel Lewis County. Burial will follow in the North Highland Cemetery in Wayne Co, TN.
